What we do

People for Community Empowerment and Assistance Trust (PCEAT) is a grassroot organization committed to uplifting marginalized communities through legal awareness, legal aid, and education. Based in Delhi and Bihar, we work closely with underserved populations to ensure justice, dignity, and equal opportunity for all.

Our Core Areas of Work:

Legal Awareness & Empowerment
We conduct legal literacy programs to educate people about their rights under the Constitution and various welfare laws. Our sessions are designed in simple, accessible language and held in slum areas, rural villages, and community centers to reach those who need it most.

Free Legal Aid & Support
We assist individuals facing legal challenges, particularly those from Dalit, tribal, and economically weaker backgrounds. Our team provides legal counseling, documentation support, and representation in local courts where necessary.

Education for Social Justice
We promote education as a tool for empowerment. This includes organizing remedial classes for children, support for school enrollment, and awareness drives on the Right to Education (RTE). We also conduct sessions on social issues such as child rights, gender equality, and anti-discrimination laws.

Community Mobilization
We build local leadership by training youth, women, and grassroots volunteers to take collective action for social change. Through workshops and campaigns, we create a network of rights-aware citizens capable of advocating for themselves and their communities.

Advocacy & Collaboration
We collaborate with lawyers, educators, and social workers to influence policy and strengthen access to justice. Our advocacy aims to bridge the gap between the law and the people, especially in remote or neglected areas.
